"Pacha" means universe, world, time, place, while "Mama" is mother. This adoration of Mother Earth means gratitude for the crops and the good weather, and for the animals and the abundance of the soil.

In many cultures, spiders are seen as symbols of wisdom, protection, luck and even a gateway to the divine. In ancient Inca/Egypt, spiders were believed to be symbols of fertility and resurrection, while in Hindu mythology they are thought to be able to create order out of chaos.
